IOW Guest Researcher Programme

The IOW maintains a whole range of strategic collaborations with national and international partner research institutions.

The IOW promotes international cooperation at a low threshold through the IOW Guest Researcher Program,  which has an incoming and outgoing component. A limited amount of funding is available for this purpose from the IOW budget each year.

The IOW guest researcher programme is aimed to senior scientists or Postdocs for a research stay at IOW up to 3 months. The target group: Guest researchers from the partner institutions with which the IOW has concluded cooperation agreements (MoU)  and partners of the Baltic Earth Network are particularly welcome. IOW is committed to increasing the proportion of women in science and particularly encourages female scientists to apply.
