Expertise

I am a visiting PhD student at the Leibniz Institute for Baltic Sea Research (IOW), working with Prof. Hans Burchard from October 2024 for a two-year period. My research focuses on the dynamics of freshwater plumes using numerical modeling (GETM). I investigate the physical mechanisms controlling plume behavior, particularly plume spreading and mixing processes. My study region is the Changjiang (Yangtze River) estuary and the adjacent coastal ocean.
