• Providing professional and organisational leadership and driving the further development of the finance department
• Ensuring reliable and legally compliant financial accounting in accordance with statutory requirements and applicable accounting standards
• Responsibility for the preparation and coordination of annual accounts, statements of expenditure, programme budgets and tax returns
• Development, implementation and ongoing refinement of financial policies, structures and efficient processes
• Trust-based collaboration and professional coordination with tax advisers, auditors, government departments, banks and third-party funding bodies
