Marcel Sommer

I am a PhD student in marine chemistry, working on environmentally relevant trace gases with a focus on nitrous oxide. My research is part of the interdisciplinary S2B-(Shore to Basin)-project, which investigates processes in shallow water environments.

• Discrete sampling and measurement of greenhouse gases of the water column
• Continuous measurements of surface and atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations
• Nitrous oxide distribution, emission and prosesses in the equatorial Indian Ocean
